Introduction to Satellite Oceanography

The fundamental optics, physics, and technology involved in satellite oceanography and how to obtain and use satellite imagery for marine research (physical oceanography, marine biology, biogeochemistry, chemical oceanography). Course combines formal lectures, practical work, and a potential visit to UGA Small Satellite Research Lab and/or Skidaway.
