Lydia "Meg" Babcock-Adams, who is completing her bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Marine Sciences and her master's degree in Marine Sciences as part of UGA's combined bachelor's/master's degree program, was chosen to deliver a remark during the UGA Science Learning Center Groundbreaking Ceremony on Aug 26. The ceremony included remarks from Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, University System of Georgia Chancellor Hank Huckaby, and UGA President Jere W. Morehead.
