Georgia
Sea Grant is looking further and further upstream to help improve and
protect the quality of the water on which our precious coastal resources
depend. Human activities throughout the state affect the health of coastal
marshes and estuaries and, in turn, fisheries and other marine life. Through
our Water Quality Center on the Web, we offer pathways to watershed and
water quality education. We also highlight some of the treasures of our
truly amazing coastal environment to encourage stewardship in Georgians
throughout the state on whose actions those resources depend.
