Bioinformatics Specialist
A position is available for a bioinformatician in support of genomic and metagenomic analyses of marine bacterial communities. Familiarity with bioinformatic methods, computer programming (Perl, BioPerl, and Java), and databases is necessary. Experience with sequence and next-generation sequence data processing is desirable. Completion of a M.S. degree in bioinformatics or related field is preferred; applicants with a B.S. and suitable experience will be considered.
